Handle Bar Bendigo

Handle Bar may be difficult to find, hidden out the back of a local coffee joint, but once you get there you'll find plenty of reasons to stay. Craft beer and cocktails are their specialties, and they keep on delivering when it comes to live music. You'll find a steady rotation of DJs, acoustic acts and live bands keeping the energy going, providing the perfect oasis to kickback for an afternoon drink before easing into an evening of great entertainment.

Basement Bar

Underground, taking over a disused bank vault, you'll find Basement Bar. Located directly opposite Bendigo's iconic fountain, the former speakeasy boasts a collection of retro video games, craft beer and plenty of live music. DJs take up regular residence and hold dedicated themed nights, spinning any request sent their way, and it's a staple for live bands, both local and from around the state.

The Metropolitan Hotel

The Metropolitan is the self-proclaimed 'entertainment capital of Bendigo'. You'll find live entertainment every Friday and Saturday night, whether that's karaoke, DJs, acoustic sets or live bands. The venue is a highlight come festival time as well with the Easter Street Bull Festival and Blues & Roots Festival taking over the Metro and the street outside when they come to town.
