In an Australian exclusive, ALWAYS LIVE and Roundhouse Entertainment are thrilled to announce a spectacular addition to Live At The Gardens. Melbourne’s own TASH SULTANA will headline an unforgettable evening under the stars in what will be their only Australian show.

TASH SULTANA returns to Melbourne for a very special one-off show at Live At The Gardens on Sunday 24 November, their first Victorian headline concert since 2022.

The multi-award-winning singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist is a true musical force, creating, composing, engineering and producing everything that is heard live and on record.

Joining TASH SULTANA will be very special guests COTERIE, SOUTH SUMMIT and LITTLE GREEN.

Don’t miss this exclusive Australian show as TASH SULTANA makes their highly anticipated return home this November in what will be a must-see for all music lovers.

Facilities onsite to assist with the expected heat conditions include;

Free drinking water stations: We will have refill stations at the main stage, Food and Beverage Zone, and near the toilets, as well as free water available at all bars. We also encourage patrons to bring empty water bottles to refill onsite.

Pre-show messaging: We’ll remind patrons to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and bring hats.

Shaded areas: The venue itself offers plenty of natural shade. By 5 pm, the majority of the main stage viewing area is shaded, which proved effective at last Saturday’s event. In addition to the existing tree canopies onsite, we have dozens of umbrellas around the other parts of the site.

Hydration at the front of the stage: Water will be available at the barrier for patrons at the front who may need hydration.

Medical support: Our first aid provider, Colmed Medical, will have a registered paramedic onsite and 3-4 medics. There's also a large shaded chill zone located next to the medical tent. Given the lineup, expected attendance, and the fact we had no issues last weekend, Colmed is confident in our medical readiness.

Security: We will have security staff available to assist patrons suffering from the effects of heat as needed.

Misting tent: We are installing a misting station onsite for this coming weekend.

It'll be a hot one this weekend in Victoria, so it's important to play it safe when you're out in the sun enjoying ALWAYS LIVE events. 🌞

Remember to:
💧Stay hydrated
😎 Slip, Slop, Slap
🌳Seek shade
🎶 Look out for your mates and know the signs of heat stress [feeling dizzy or unwell? Cool off immediately!]

ARTISTS

Tash Sultana, the gender-fluid multi-instrumentalist, producer, singer-songwriter, engineer and entrepreneur has carved out every step in their musical journey over the years, which has taken them from performing open night mics all over the country, busking the streets of Melbourne to releasing platinum records, accumulating over a billion streams, nominations across the globe, including the 2023 Rolling Stone Global Artist Award and selling hundreds of thousands of concert tickets worldwide and selling out some of the world’s most famous venues including Red Rocks in minutes.

Their debut album Flow State landed in 2018 and quickly became Gold certified, and spawned Platinum and Gold records with singles ‘Mystik’ and ‘Murder to the Mind’. Tash has been nominated for 15 ARIA AWARDS throughout their career, cementing Tash’s status as one of Australia’s biggest musical talents.

Tash is a world away from the artist they were when they were 18. Of course, many of the traits that defined them then are still present: the drive, the curiosity, the endless search for new musical knowledge and desire to share that knowledge with others. But in lots of ways they have changed. Their life now is focused, disciplined, with Tash valuing calm and connectedness. The coming years will see them step out more as an entrepreneur and businessperson, expanding what is becoming a small music industry empire.

Tash, as always, is on their own journey.

COTERIE is rapidly building a reputation as one of most electrifying live acts on both sides of the Tasman.

Coterie are a five-piece band spearheaded by four Māori brothers living on the coastline of West Australia. Riding off the back of four New Zealand #1 Hot singles, a #1 New Zealand album and #4 in Australia in the last 12 months, brothers Tyler, Joshua, Brandford and Conrad encompass an authenticity often lost in modern music. Records made in their lounge-room tell stories through lyrics drawn from real life experiences whilst melodically rich vocals bring a raw narrative heat to the songs. Their live shows harness a lifetime of musical connection that evoke feelings you can only get when 15 years of jamming starts to speak for itself.

After a chance meeting at a backyard party and bonding over their diverse tastes in music it took some convincing to get all members of South Summit to join the band. Now one of Perth's most talked about live bands, the 5 guys can't imagine doing anything else.

Hidden away from the East Coast music scene - South Summit have created a truly unique sound, not influenced by what the rest of the country is doing.

Zaya [lead vocals], Josh [bass], Fynn [lead guitar], Nemo [backing vocal, rhythm guitar], and Nathan [drums] all come from culturally different backgrounds, have hugely different tastes in music but they all share a love of connecting with people through songs. They do it with family over backyard BBQs, festival stages and even a series of shows throughout WA prisons. South Summit love playing music together, they don’t follow the traditional music industry path and the buzz their live shows are receiving prove that fans are loving them too.

With a their new single, Givin’ It Up just around the corner and a new National Tour to be announced, 2024 will be the year of South Summit.

Not bad for 5 mates from Perth.

Born and raised in the Blue Mountains, Little Green dreamed of being an Olympic swimmer before turning to music. When the time came to hang up the goggles, she applied the swimming principles she had learned to music and songwriting.

Coming from a musical family, Little Green’s father trained her as a toddler to have perfect pitch by placing a tuning fork on the top of her head. Her mother loved the craft of songwriting, introducing her to Joni Mitchell records that would form the soundtrack to her childhood.

The self-taught musician plays flute, sax, guitar, piano, bass, and voice, prolifically writing and producing songs in her bedroom studio. Transcending boundaries, Little Green invites us into an ever-evolving tapestry of music, grounded in messages of love and healing.
