Discover Live Music Saturday's, Fed Square's freshly curated program of live music - all summer long!

By Always Live

Fed Square has become synonymous with all things community, live events and entertainment in Melbourne, and this summer, the team have curated a line-up of incredible live music offerings. The best part? It's all completely free.

There's something quintessentially Melbourne about hopping off the train at Flinders Street Station, tapping your Myki out of the gates and crossing the road to Fed Square, the ever-alive hub of activity right in the centre of the city. With it's rotating door of activations and events, it's been home to some of the city's most iconic events, whether it's our very own ALWAYS LIVE Garage Band or a record-breaking live-screening of the Tilly's in the World Cup, and as far as live music at the Square goes, this summer is shaping up to be huge.

The program promises a line up of excellent local and international talent, with Live Music Saturday's bringing acts from all over the world to the centre of Melbourne.

An all-Kiwi lineup featuring Muroki, SIX60 and Riiki Reid will showcase some of the best talent from across the ditch for Sounds of Aotearoa, followed by the Afro Caribbean Carnival, presented by Melbourne's very own Stick Mareebo.

Powerhouse performer Sampa The Great will also be headlining the Square for an all ages afro-beat, hip hop, afro-house takeover.

Back by popular demand, Live Music By Candelight is returning to create some extra magical Melbourne moments, with artists like Budjerah, Rueben Kaye and JACOTENE live at Fed Square in this intimate and illuminating free performances.

Live Music Saturday's promises a summer of live music that can't be missed, right in the centre of Melbourne. We can't wait to create some more memorable music moments at Fed Square.
