Garage Band is an initiative co-presented with JOF, Fed Square and Bunjil Place that celebrates and spotlights emerging Victorian talent. It features up to 30 young bands all under the age of 21 performing live at Fed Square and Bunjil Place in front of friends, family, industry and live-music lovers alike in what is largely the first opportunity for these artists to take their music to the next level.
Ahead of Garage Band 2024 kicking off, Bunjil Place hosted an Info Session for applicants, where they learned about the Garage Band process and met with other showcasing artists.

Claire Rayner is an ARIA nominated vocalist, songwriter, topliner and vocal engineer. Recent years have seen the prolific musician forge her name locally and overseas, receiving airplay across triple j and BBC Radio 1 while adding her voice to a slew of acclaimed releases with artists such as Golden Features, Solomun, Colyn, The Presets and Hii Spirits.
