Now in its third year, Garage Band has again teamed up with JOF, Fed Square, and Bunjil Place to throw an epic event spotlighting Victoria’s best emerging musicians aged 16 to 21 across one huge weekend! 30 bands from across Victoria will take the stage and rock out live at either Bunjil Place (December 7) or Fed Square (December 8) performing in front of friends, family, and music fans alike. Garage Band SongMakers Workshop
ALWAYS LIVE and APRA AMCOS present the Garage Band SongMakers Workshop, a special 2-day songwriting and production workshop in which four groups of emerging musicians aged 16 – 21 will write and record a brand-new song with mentorship from prominent Victorian songwriters and producers.
SongMakers will take place on November 30 & December 1 at The Channel, Arts Centre Melbourne.
This free workshop aims at empowering the next generation of Victorian artists to collaborate, compose and create.
Applications are now closed for Garage Band SongMakers 2024.
Garage Band Bunjil Place Live Performance
On Saturday, December 7, Bunjil Place will have a special Garage Band showcase where you can see the most talented young musicians from the Southeast perform.

On Sunday December 8, ALWAYS LIVE will host the best emerging artists from all around the state to perform at a huge multi-stage event.
